Senior Authorised Person – Data Centres – Frankfurt

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

•   Electrical Permit & Safety Authorisation Control
Manage the full electrical permit-to-work process, ensuring all high- and low-voltage activities are correctly authorised, risk assessed, and carried out under strict safety governance.
•   Safe Isolation, Switching & Energisation Management
Plan, execute, and verify safe isolations, switching operations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and system energisation, maintaining precise documentation and ensuring compliance with electrical safety rules.
•   Technical Assurance Across Electrical Systems
Review electrical drawings, method statements, test documentation, and risk assessments to ensure all works meet design intent, regulatory standards, and Data Centre-critical operational requirements.
•   Coordination with Electrical, Commissioning & Site Teams
Work closely with electrical supervisors, commissioning engineers, and subcontractor teams to coordinate high-risk electrical works, resolve technical issues, and maintain progress against programme milestones.
•   Electrical Safety Audits, Inspections & Reporting
Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and work areas, identify hazards or non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and provide clear written reports to project and safety management.

Requirements

Must have relevant HV/LV Certs
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar mission critical environments
EU Passport or RTW in Germany is preferred
